Welcome to 3EP's Class Page!

Thank you for checking out our class page. Class teachers in 3EP are Mrs Elsworth and Mrs Pierlejewski.  Our support assistant is Miss Jones. On this page you will find information about trips, spellings and all of the exciting things that we will be doing this year.

The children have come back following the Summer break refreshed and ready to learn.

Book Bags

Please can your child bring their book bag to school on their reading day. Your child will bring home a reading book and activities. Please feel free to write any comments about how they got on in the reading diary.

Spellings

Children will receive weekly spellings on a Wednesday and will have a spelling test the following Wednesday.

Water bottle

Your child can bring water into school in a water bottle with a sports cap. The bottles need to be labelled with your child's name.

P.E kit is required on Thursdays. P.E kit is kept in school and is sent home half termly for washing and returning to school.

Thank you for your continued support,

Safety week. Staying safe around open water and what to do in an emergency. Pupils learned how to spot the dangers around canals and rivers and how- to react in an emergency whilst keeping themselves safe. 3EP were brilliant at using role play to recall the key messages around water safety. Remember stay calm, shout for help, call 999, if you can lie on your belly and use something like a stick to allow the person in the water to hold onto. Do not overbalance by standing up - you could fall into the water yourself.

Our topic is the United Kingdom.

The Big Question

What do you know about each of the countries that make up the U.K?

Monday 9th October was E-Safety day in year 3.

We used an app called Chatterkids to create safety messages for when we use the internet. We watched a video called Hector's world and listened to the messages about keeping personal information offline. We discussed what personal information is and created these videos to share our advice!
