frownFirst Week Back- Show and Tell!frown

On Friday 7th September, we are having a show and tell session to get to know each other better. Please bring in something special to share with your class. This could be a photograph, toy, card, teddy bear, book etc. Try to choose something that has a special meaning to you and practise what you are going to say about your item. Don't worry if you can't find anything to bring in- think of a special person or time in your life and you can talk about that instead!

This term we will be looking at riddles, dilemma stories and persuasive advertisements. Also, in the lead up to Christmas, we will be doing some exciting work based upon a short Christmas film called, 'The Bear and the Hare'.

In addition to our English lessons, we will be doing lots of grammar, handwriting and spelling. Weekly spellings will be given out each Monday to be tested on Friday.

The River Mersey will be an important focus of this topic and we will be planning our first trip very soon- watch this space!laugh
