All Key Stage 1 children are entitled to free meals under the universal infant free school meals policy. For children in Years 3 to 6, meals cost £1.80 a day or £9.00 per week.
If you think you are eligible for free school meals (and have not already applied) you can call-in to any One Stop Shop or apply online for an instant answer at:
http://liverpool.gov.uk/schools-and-learning/grants-and-funding/free-school-meals/application-form/
We urge those parents who are eligible for free school meals to make a formal application, even if your child has a packed lunch, as this allows school to claim additional funding (pupil premium) for new equipment and resources.
