Your child will get a book to read at home on a Friday, which is to be returned the following Friday.

Please ensure that your child brings their books to school in their book bag.

They will also read with an adult daily.

Spring Term 2:

English:

Jemmy Button

Jemmy Button is a fantastic book based on a true story of a young boy who travelled from South America to the United Kingdom. The children are enriched by the exciting story and beautiful vocabulary of the book. They are also inspired by the example text we use in our Read2Write scheme.
