Collective worship at St.Christopher's is an opportunity for all to gather together, listen to scripture, respond to this with our thoughts and feelings and then go forth taking away a key meaning which will help us through our daily lives.
We believe that Collective worship takes in to account the religious and educational needs of all who share in it. For some, school maybe their first and only experience of worship.
The children and staff at St.Christopher's particularly enjoy sharing collective worship time together. It enables us to take a moment and reflect on the awe and wonder our beautiful world.
Following the Lent Easter topic in RE lessons some of our children looked at the opportunities we have to serve others. Jesus showed us the perfect example when he died on the cross for us. Children enjoyed coming together in collective worship to reflect and remember. It was a time of reflection and rejoicing.
Year 1 children enjoyed taking part in a collective worship planned around the events of Palm Sunday.
