It's Friyayyyy!  Well done for all your hard work this week year 6 and well done to all of the parents too.  You are all doing a great job!

 

Join Mr Elsworth and I between 11:30 and 12 today to complete some races on Purple Mash.  To get onto it, log onto purple mash, go to games, click 2race, click 2race again and then find Mrs Cairns' room.  We will be enjoying half an hour of mathematical racing and we hope to see you there.

Lesson Text word meanings and similar words (synonyms)

Today we will reading 3 short chapters of our information book on Wolves (the book pages can be found on the below power point and/or you can listen to the book being read by clicking on the below video. You will then have to find the meanings of words found in the text using your own knowledge, a dictionary or internet search before listing similar meaning words known as similes.

  • Fractions on a numberline Watch the video and pause it to answer the questions on the sheet when it asks you to. You do not need to print the sheet off, answer the questions on a piece of paper if that is easier. The answer sheet is also there so you can mark and correct when you have finished. If you are finding any questions really difficult, please son't worry, just try your best!
