Today we are going to recap on the place value of numbers between 11 and 20.

Here are some ideas to support your child:

  • Pick a number between 11 and 20, write the numeral and number word for it.

      Can they show it in tens and ones?

      What is one more or one less than that number?  

  • Pick two numbers (between 11 and 20). Compare the numbers,   which is greater than, less than or equal to. 
  • Order groups of objects between 11 and 20. Can you order them from least to greatest? What about from the least to greatest?
