Choir
Choir takes place until Easter with Mrs Domegala after school on Tuesdays. It is open to children from Years 4 to 6 and is a great club to be a part of if you enjoy singing and performing. Singing in a primary school choir is especially fun for pupils, helping them connect with music while developing important social skills. It also helps improve memory, emotional well-being, and self-esteem and provides a good workout for the heart and lungs. Each week the children will learn new songs or build on existing ones throughout the year; learning about expression, tone and pace of their voice.
Children also have the exciting opportunity to represent our school at the Young Voices Concert at the Co-op Arena in Manchester, each year. Young Voices host the largest children’s choir concerts in the world, bringing together primary schools from across the UK in a truly electrifying experience.
Through these unforgettable events, children discover their voices, grow in confidence, and feel part of something extraordinary – all while inspiring a lifelong love of music.
Our participation in Young Voices this year was an unbelievable experience and something we will never forget.
