This has been a very exciting year for us as we continue to develop new partnerships with local organisations and businesses.

CSL Sequirus

CSL Sequirus are a pharmaceutical company, who stand on the front line with partners in public health discovering, developing, and delivering pioneering seasonal and pandemic vaccine solutions to safeguard people and communities across the world and they are based a very short distance from school. Denise and her team have worked alongside our Science subject lead to develop some fantastic activities to support our children's learning. So far, they have:

• Funded and organised for our Year 5 children to visit the Catalyst Museum to enrich their Science learning. 
• Partnered with Tutors United to provide funded tuition for our Year 5 and 6 children in English and Maths.
• Supported our British Science Week, including delivering two amazing Science Fairs, teaching our children all about the different elements of their work. 

Liverpool John Lennon Airport

 Through the airport we will:

•  be supported with our Careers Education, including visits to school and the airport to find out about the many different roles.
• First Aid sessions for Year 5 delivered by the Firefighters at the Airport
• Visits to the airport for our Year 1 classes, linked with their History Topic 'Up in the Air - the first airplane flight'.
• A solar power project, including a visit to the airport solar power plant.
• Working alongside the airport to enhance our Year 4 Geography 'Tourism' unit. 
• And we have plans for CV writing sessions for our parents delivered by the airport's HR staff
