Sister School
We try to give our children as broad a view as possible of the world and have made a few international connections but by far the most successful, in recent years, is our link with our Chinese friends.
In October 2018 Mrs Denby visited Qingdao, in NE China, with a group of headteachers from Liverpool to make links with Chinese schools. Our 'sister school' is Shuyuan Primary School.
We have all spent time learning about different aspects of Chinese culture and Chinese schools since Mrs Denby's trip and a group of teachers and pupils from Liverpool will be visiting Qingdao in March 2020.
In July 2019 a group of teachers and children from three schools in Qingdao visited Liverpool. Four of the children were from our sister school. Together, we had a Forest School session, an Art Class and a trip to Speke Hall. They were also interviewed by our School Council to find out more about the similarities and differences between our education. It was a great day and we can't wait to visit them in their school to share more learning and fun together!
