PE and Sports Premium

This page includes information about the funding school receives for the PE and Sports Premium.

At St Christopher’s Catholic Primary School we have developed an ethos where sport and physical activity are considered a significant part of school life; where all children’s sporting achievements, engagement and talents are celebrated and nurtured. We provide outstanding opportunities for physical activity and sport for all of our children, and we strive for all children to be life-long participants of sport.

We strategically allocate our Primary PE & Sports Premium in accordance with 5 key indicators:

Key indicator 1: The engagement of all pupils in regular physical activity – Chief Medical Officers guidelines recommend that primary school pupils undertake at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day in school

Key indicator 2: The profile of Physical Education, School Sport & Physical Activity (PESSPA) being raised across the school as a tool for whole school improvement

Key indicator 3: Increased confidence, knowledge and skills of all staff in teaching PE and sport

Key indicator 4: Broader experience of a range of sports and activities offered to all pupils

Key indicator 5: Increased participation in competitive sport.

Total fund allocated to developing PE & Sports at St Christopher’S Catholic Primary School 24/25
