We are going to wait until everyone is back in school to complete our Writing Unit based on The Lost Book of Adventure. Until then there will be a different English activity for you to do. It might be a grammar lesson or a reading comprehension.

Today England play Denmark at Wembley in the semi-final of the Euros 2021 competition. Have a look at these reading comprehensions about the Euros. There are three different levels of difficulty. Choose which one you feel you can answer the best. .

Geography

Using the information about Mount Everest from yesterday, think of reasons for and against climbing it. Complete the table and then decide if YOU would want to do it or not. Think carefully about the dangers and the environmental impact involved in climbing the mountain. Also, think about what a sense of achievement it would be.
